We have a birthday coming up. My sweet baby Alice is going to be.....get ready.....ONE!
Her birthday party is going to be circus themed (yes, of course there is a theme). This is what we're making today to get ready...
Do you know what it is?

Know what this is?

Nope, not a party hat...

These are party cones to hold cotton candy and fries! So cute. Do I dare say where I got the cone idea for the french fries? Okay, so I got the idea from last season of "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood." It's true. Tori Spelling gave me this adorable fry holder idea. But seriously, how cute?
And we could have just decided to use plain old white cotton candy cones but I think these are 100 times cuter.
Here's what you need to make your own french fry cones:

square paper (cut along that curved line):

You'll want to line them when you're done or the grease from the fries will make the paper icky

Cut the 1/2 moon out of the paper from one corner to the other:

With the curved part on top, make a cone. Use clear tape to tape the ends together.

Yes, I'm wearing black nail polish.
You can also add some cute little touches (which is of course what we will be doing, but we don't have those supplies yet). We're going to add ribbon to the top and maybe ribbon hanging from the bottom. Do you think "circus" when you imagine it? Cuz you should.
