Mushroom Hunt

Yesterday, Dan got home from work and wanted to go on an adventure. After being home all day with the kids, I was all for it. We packed up the kids, put the carseats in the truck, packed up the dogs, got extra diapers, wipes, and jackets, put on tennis shoes, sweatshirts, and jeans and off we went!

We drove about 45 minutes out of town and to the forest where we went hunting for mushrooms.

But we weren't very successful with actual edible, yummy, coveted mushrooms.

Maria didn't care what we found, she was excited every single time we found any type of mushroom!

I think these hiking adventures will become a regular things for us
