We were grocery shopping and Maria spotted some coconuts. Her eyes lit up and she begged me to get one. At $3 each, why not? So I grabbed one and put it in the cart. She was so pleased, she could hardly stand it.

Now's the time to saw it in half. I always kinda thought it'd be cool to do it like the guys on the beach in the caribbean do it. Ya know, just knock it a few times with a small machete and it pops right open. Apparently it's not that easy and here in Clarkston, it takes a saw.
Jamie loved watching, but when it came time to eat it....
....he looked at it....licked it....
....and threw it in his milk.
