We saw some wildlife...
...our own wild animals had to use the potty. Luckily we were the only ones around.
That's not a wild animal. That's Alice. Remember the last post with the sweet hair? This is the end result of those braids. I kinda like it cuz it kinda suits her.
Maria is excited...
...Jamie is just cute...
....and pretty silly.....
....and at the end of it all, Maria had a stained tongue...
... and we all had stained fingers.
And pretty soon we'll have some super delicious huckleberry pie or buckle or jam or sauce or muffins or ice cream.....or maybe just huckleberries.
Let me just explain something to all of you who are looking at that bucket. Sure, it might not look like a lot of berries, but that was an hour and 1/2 of work. Try picking berries with a baby on your back, 2 kids running (and falling, spilling their berries) around and the thought of bears attacking. Not easy.

what an awesome day. my first thought at after looking at the field was PHOTOSHOOTS... which was quickly changed by bug, snacks, etc... I am afraid of everything. There are so many sweet spots I would love to take pictures of my kids, but the fear of all things nature stops me every time.
