This is Maria

Without a doubt, she is the sweetest 5 year old you will ever meet. She probably even beats out 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 year olds. Alice is a very close second, and if she gets her dinosaur squealing under control, they could easily be tied. They're both pretty great.

She looks just like her daddy. But that's okay, because he's beautiful.

She is the most fun to have anywhere -- she's fun on vacation, she's fun at Costco, she's fun at school, she's fun at church, and she's fun at home. She very very rarely gets upset and has only thrown a tantrum maybe once. She's a very good girl.

She knows that having a little brother and sister means having to do lots of work, and she never complains. She may have once told me she feels like Cinderella, but she said it with a smile on her face. I love her.

She loves coloring and drawing (she is quite a little artist), ballet, soccer, school, playing with her friends, playing with Jamie and Alice, helping mama do anything, and sleeping in the pita bed. She never wants to go away to college, get her ears pierced and thinks that "boyfriend" is a naughty word. Yep, she's perfect.
