It's not December yet.
It's not even Thanksgiving.
But really...who cares? Today I sent Danny to storage to get all of our Christmas decorations. *sigh* I love a house decorated for Christmas.
There are candles on the mantle....
We even hung up the stockings....
...and today the kids and I went on a mission to Real Deals to find some more decorations. I usually try and stay away from Real Deals because it is very small and full of lots of things that can be knocked over or ruined by tiny little hands. I locked them in the kid corner and pretended I didn't hear them yelling and running and being obnoxious.
Truthfully, they were really good, even Alice.
But anyway, we did walk away with some holiday decorations....
And the kids' favorite is the tiny little village I got for $.99 for each piece, which features this Santa. If they were done to scale, this Santa would be a giant Santa that would scare all the children. Luckily, my kids don't care about things being to scale.
My friend Kelle Hampton at www.kellehampton.com (okay, so we aren't friends. She actually has no clue that I exist but I really love her blog and if we knew each other in real life, we'd be friends. I think.) made these adorable flag banners that I'm going to copy, hopefully tomorrow.
I'll obviously blog it.
Happy Holidays!
