Today is Friday.
THANK GOODNESS.
It has been a crazy week. Aside from feeling sorry for myself and throwing myself a pity party every afternoon (I've said it before...I love parties), I also got pulled over and given a ticket (totally stupid I might add), woke up 6 minutes before the kids and I had to leave for school...TWICE, didn't grab enough cash for our groceries (tell me one thing more embarrassing than having to put back US Weekly, People Magazine and a package of frozen veggies. Yes, I was only, like, $12 short) and my car is making a weird noise.
So thank goodness for Fridays.
This is what I did:
My sheets are clean, and I even vacuumed our room.
Our bathroom? Clean.
ONE...count that...ONE load of dirty laundry to do. Down from 4.
ONE load to put away.
A CLEAN kitchen and dining room.
And a little cupcake making.
I've also made a decision.
It's a big decision, so get ready for it.
Every Friday, I will bake a new cupcake. That's right, people...52 batches of cupcakes this year. I started today with vanilla cupcakes and chocolate frosting. SO not adventurous or new in any way. But I vow that the remaining 51 will be cupcakes I have never made.
I told you it was big.

WOW~! Where were the kids while you were doing all of this??
Are you volunteering to make cupcakes for Sam's birthday? He likes vanilla on vanilla- so save that one, just in case.t
