I love Autumn. Tell me one thing better than feeling like maybe you should just wear sweats, wanting to make soup, yellow leaves, and.....
...Halloween. LOVE it.
The other day, our gigantic pumpkins were crying for us to carve them. And by us, I mean Danny. And by carve, I mean cut out intricate designs printed off of nickjr.com. Ya know...Dora and Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! We are traditional here at the Prasil house.
Luckily, Maria and Jamie have a dad who wouldn't even flinch at this, er, request (which sounded a lot more like a whiney demand).
So he carved Dora for Maria.
And for this little guy?
Well this was all we got out of him. And that skin was so thick, there was no way Wubbzy was fitting on him.
So it was reserved for giant pumpkin #2. The tiny pumpkin is just a tiny pumpkin, for the tiny little pumpkin we call Alice.
The best part about pumpkins?
Tossed with a little melted butter, worshteshire (obviously spelled wrong, but what kind of word is that, anyway?) sauce and seasoning salt...these suckers are delicious.
And after October 31st, we can start planning Thanksgiving bingo, getting excited for Josh and Liisa to come visit, feeling the little peanut kicking inside me, and I should probably start working out so that I look rockin' in my bikini for our Mexico trip right after Christmas.
I don't really have a bikini.
But we do really play Thanksgiving day bingo.
Happy Fall!
