Today is King Arthur Day.
Yeah, I'm sure lots of you are celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr Day, and I'm sure that guy was great and all, but in the Prasil house, we celebrate King Arthur Day.
Oh, you don't know who King Arthur was?
He was a guy who had a dream and wanted everyone to treat each other nicely. In the words of Maria. He might have known MLK, Jr. I'm not sure.
Either that, or they are the same person.
Ah, I love 5 year olds.
So anyway, we had the day off of school. After 3 days of sick kids I was not ready for a day of healthy children not in school or daycare. They were loud today. Loud and annoying. It's true, they were kind of annoying. Tattling on every single little thing...
...but then 5:00pm rolled around and we got out the makeup.
I don't know why Maria's Spa opened so late - it would have been nice to have it open at 2:00 or 3:00, because it kept one little client very happy and entertained.
And Miss Maria (that's what she likes to be called as the owner of the spa) even lets her tiniest clients pick what color they would like.
And Miss Maria thought it was a hoot...
[my girls are the best]
And after several applications of cheap Claire's makeup, it was definitely time for a bath.
And this little stinker is their friend, too...but she likes to shove and whine and take toys. Maybe Charlotte won't mind...
And one of my favorite things to ask Alice is, "Where is Mama's baby?"
Every time, she looks down at her tummy....
It's so cute and funny because that's what she calls any baby....'mama.' It gets confusing sometimes and when I finally realized she wasn't always asking for me and 80% of the time was asking for her baby doll...it was a little disappointing.
And then, of course, it's time to brush out all the tangles.
So tomorrow, all the kids are going to school.
A little runny nose? Still going.
They are all well right now, and I'm not sure I can handle another day inside with all the kids by myself again.
Hope you guys had a good King Arthur Day!

Your kids are insanely beautiful...model children. I love how you capture them and how they play so nicely together. So much love in your house :)
