Last night we went to bed with the snow coming down outside.
It's depressing, you guys. We have a couple beautiful 60* days and then this happens. It makes me so mad...mostly because it reminds me that while Charlotte will be here soon, it still won't be until spring...and we are still obviously in winter.
But the kids love it.
Especially Alice who shrieks, "NOOOOOOO!!! NOOOOO!!!" which means "snow," of course.
She runs as fast as she can outside in the morning, not caring even a tiny bit that her darling houndstooth shoes are NOT waterproof and her ruffle socks are getting soaked.
Or that her tiny little fingers will freeze without gloves.
And because she has seen Maria and Jamie do it several times....she eats the snow.
And I have to bribe her with the "big pod" to get her back inside, where she sits adorably in the middle of the living room with her fruit snacks, big pod, and milk (I know...the milk on the carpet is dangerous, but I desperately need to get my carpets cleaned).
