This is what I see when I walk into the kitchen many nights:
I love it. They sit three across (the big kids sit at "their" spots at the island and then baby Alice scoots her chair over to be right next to them) and don't mind it at all.
Yesterday was so crazy busy for me. 2 doctor's appointment, kids napping, laundry, etc. that I had no time to go to the store for dinner, so Dan picked up some eggs and bacon and we had breakfast for dinner. Easy and the kids love it.

Mmmmm, don't the eggs look good? haha, no they don't. But this is how they like them. They call it an "egglet" (which is kid talk for 'omelette') and they like me to cut it up like this. Looks so gross, but they love it.
And then the o.j. with the little paper straws that I am semi-obsessed with. Ria gets one in her lunch every day for school and for birthday parties for the kids I try and order them to (duh) color-coordinate. So cute, I love them.
And you guys probably didn't know this, but the 21st was "National Cinnamon Roll Day." We didn't know it either until the night of the 21st and we were watching "Good Eats" on the Food Network. After passing my glucose test, we decided to celebrate with cinnamon rolls:
All rolled out, brushed with butter, and sprinkled with a mixture of cinnamon, brown sugar and salt....
And now they are in the fridge and then I will put them in an oven to rise slightly and then we will bake them and frost them and probably eat several after dinner.
What? I'm pregnant.
