I think that McDonald's should really consider using playdates in commercials.
Because when my kids have playdates after school, do you know what we go and pick up?
Yep, Mickey D's. And the kids LOVE it. That's probably the best part of the whole playdate, the kids' meals from Mickey D's.
Chicken nuggets, of course. Even though when I look at chicken nuggets it makes me vomit a little in my mouth, my kids gobble them up like I gobble up fudge covered graham crackers (oh, my, those delicious treats are so yummy).
And the second they open up their kids' meals, they rip open their toy that comes with it.
Jamie was thrilled with the whole thing.
Seriously, he was. He doesn't show it like you might think a 4-year-old boy would, but when I mentioned Wyatt was coming over and we were going to have McDonald's, he couldn't believe it.
"Mickey D's??? Cuz that's what Pat called it. Remember when we went to Mickey D's in Moscow? With Pat? Remember? And he called it that? Hahahaha that was so silly. And Wyatt gets to play????"
But we got 3 boys toys. Which was fine because Alice was happy with her truck. Even though she kept saying "choo choo"...we'll work on that.
Someone doesn't, though.
That little canal through the ketchup is a little suspicious. Not the size of either a fry tip or a nugget.
But I totally insist that my kids eat healthy (obviously) so I only let them drink milk when they get kid's meals stuffed with fried french fries and chicken nuggets, dipped in red-colored sugar dip....ketchup. Only the healthy stuff for my kids, I tell you.
And thinking I was the best playdate mom ever, I got out all the crayons and paper and had it all ready for them for when they came up. Because it would be a super fun surprise, right?
I guess not, because I actually made them come up 10 minutes before Wyatt had to leave (I didn't want to have to yell for them to come up....and yell for them...and yell for them...better to just already have them up.). They weren't as excited about the BRAND NEW crayons and paper as I thought they might be.
